Your vision. Our Insight.
Together for Community Success.

Nova Scotia’s 13 Regional Development Authorities help build strong, healthy communities.

Whether it’s spearheading a downtown revitalization project, helping businesses reach new export markets, or supporting immigrants as they build their lives in a new place, RDAs facilitate economic development in the communities we serve.

We leverage our private, public and non-profit sector partnerships to assemble the resources you need to ensure your initiative is successful.  We use our expertise in project management, skills building and strategic planning to ensure your project stays focused and on track.

RDAs help build prosperous, vibrant communities by focusing on:

  • Community Development
  • Business Counseling
  • Skills & Learning
  • Regional Promotion
  • Investment Recruitment
  • Information & Research
  • Sites & Premises
  • Innovation

The Nova Scotia Association of Regional Development Authorities - or NSARDA - is the link between the Nova Scotia RDAs, providing support and collective strength. Since 1999, the NSARDA has helped the Nova Scotia RDAs in improving the economy of communities across Nova Scotia.

April 17–18 is a weekend you won’t want to miss! Nomination Grand Pré has teamed up with a planning committee and other partners to sponsor the World Heritage Day event and celebrate this year’s theme of Agricultural Heritage.

A new report released today provides insight into how Nova Scotia’s communities are dealing with and developing solutions for Nova Scotia’s population decline.

NSARDA's BRE II Roll Out

United we stand. That belief – and the knowledge that by standing together a community prospers together – beats strongly at the heart of the Pictou Regional Development Commission (PRDC).
